WHAT IS BRC (British Retail Consortium) GLOBAL FOOD STANDARD?
Companies which receive primary BRC certificate have the competency to produce boxes that can be in direct contact with food. Thanks to this competency, there is no need to protect foods with stretch film, packaging or any protector.
BRC was first published in 1998 by British Retail Consortium (BRC) as a Food Technical Standard. The standard is adopted worldwide by food suppliers, and especially by those organizations providing products to British retailers.
While certification in accordance with the standards assists the manufacturers, brand owners and retailers in fulfilling their own legal obligations, it also ultimately protects the consumer.
Standard especially; It stipulates the implementation of a documented and effective quality management system in the enterprise and the effective control of factory environmental standards, products, processes and personnel..
